YOU AND WHAT ARMY (YAWA) uniquely fuse Rap, Rock and Rave into a a fearless, intense and energetic sonic performance, when onstage it is an experience that is unlikely to be forgotten in a hurry.

Having performed across the UK, sharing stages with the likes of Hadouken, My Passion, Chase & Status, We are the Ocean, Family Force Five, Example to name but a few,  then selected as tour support for Kids In Glass Houses and Boys Like Girls throughout their UK tour, these four lads have got around and built up a nice fan base up and down the country.

In 2010 You And What Army won the Red Bull Bedroom Jam competition after being selected by judges Andy Copping (Download Festival), Darren Taylor (Rock Sound Magazine Editor), Beckie Sugden (The Agency Group) and Charlie Simpson (Fightstar) to play Download Festival, Sonisphere Festival, T in the Park Festival, Underage Festival and Hevy Festival and then to compete in the finals, ultimately winning the competition.

As a result, in October 2010 YAWA went into the Red Bull Studios London and recorded a 4 track EP which was released and featured as a CD Cover mount of Rock Sound Magazine in February 2011.

The summer of 2011 saw the band return to play Download, Sonisphere and Hevy festivals along with a mini tour of their own… They then entered their home studio to begin work on the third EP. With the EP release at the start of 2012 and an April UK Tour, the year looks set to be another exciting one for the YAWA boys.
